1. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Grants & Equity collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use Logan, our websites, and related services.
Logan is built for nonprofit fundraising work. That means customers may store organization profiles, program details, funding priorities, relationship notes, documents, drafts, and other workspace content.
2. Information we collect
Account information: name, email address, authentication details, role, organization name, team membership, and workspace access information.
Organization and program information: mission, focus areas, geography, populations served, program descriptions, funding needs, impact evidence, fundraising priorities, relationship records, and uploaded documents.
Usage and technical information: device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, feature usage, logs, error reports, authentication events, and security metadata.
Payment and billing information: subscription status, invoice references, billing contact information, and payment processor metadata. We do not store full payment card numbers.
Communications: messages you send through support, demo forms, email, Telegram, Slack, or other connected communication channels.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide Logan, authenticate users, maintain secure workspaces, personalize fundraising context, generate AI-assisted drafts, rank opportunities, support relationship memory, send transactional messages, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
We may use aggregated or de-identified operational data to understand product performance and improve Logan. We do not sell personal data.
4. AI processing
When Logan drafts, summarizes, researches, or recommends next moves, it may send relevant workspace context to AI model providers and internal agent systems so the requested work can be performed.
Private customer content is used to serve that customer workspace. We do not use private customer documents or workspace records to train public AI models.
AI outputs should be reviewed by a human before they are used for submissions, outreach, compliance, reporting, or decisions.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies to personalize content, run ads, and analyze traffic. We also use essential cookies and similar technologies for login, security, preferences, and session management.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent login or workspace features from working correctly.
6. How information is shared
We share information with service providers that help us operate Logan, such as cloud hosting, authentication, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, AI model providers, search providers, and communication integrations.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, to investigate abuse, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer.
Workspace content is not shared with other customers. Public discovery data may be stored in a global public graph only when it comes from public sources and is not private customer relationship context.
7. Security and isolation
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer data, including encrypted transport, controlled infrastructure access, authentication, audit logging, and workspace-level access controls.
No security program can guarantee absolute protection. If you believe your account or workspace has been compromised, contact us promptly at security@grantsandequity.com.
8. Data retention
We retain account and workspace data while the account is active or as needed to provide the service. We may retain logs, backups, audit records, billing records, and security records for a reasonable period after account closure.
Customers may delete certain records from the workspace. Some data may remain in backups or logs until normal retention cycles expire.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain personal information. You may also have the right to object to certain processing.
To make a privacy request, email privacy@grantsandequity.com. We may need to verify your identity and workspace authority before fulfilling a request.
10. International processing
Logan may process information in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. By using Logan, you understand that information may be transferred and processed outside your location.
11. Children
Logan is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Logan, our practices, or legal requirements change. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice when appropriate.
